Powder coating can be defined as a homogenous mixture of resins, pigments, fillers and additives, which is applied to a substrate by using different systems, for decoration and/or protection purposes.
Powder coating does not contain any solvents and in general, no liquid components.
Powder coatings can be used for application on various substrates: mainly those made of m
etal, but also MDF, plastic and glass. Moreover, there is a huge potential for colours and special effects. Powder coatings have many practical advantages, too. They are ecological and make it possible to reduce costs and
use energy more efficiently, as well as they provide very good protection against corrosion and weather conditions.
